Meet Some Of Our Teachers

Naba Iritah Shenmira

High Priest and Master Healer

Naba Iritah Shenmira is a priest and healer from the Dogon bloodline of Meritah (Africa). With guidance from the Ancestors and Elders of the Gulmu lineage of Burkina Faso, as well as various kingships, Iritah has been chosen to continue the work began by his father, Naba Lamoussa Morodenibig, to reunite the traditional cultures of the world and preserve Kemetic culture. He has undergone many initiations and worked with many traditional priests including training intensely with his father in the last few years of his life. He is a temple and wisdom keeper and shares this knowledge with the West, uniting people from all backgrounds. He is now the Director of the M’TAM Mystery School Temples worldwide. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Ankhkasta Natural Healing. He is the co-author of Book of Purifications, Initiatic Tales of Hej-Ptah and Philosophy Podium: A Dogon Perspective. He leads annual pilgrimages to West Africa and is an experienced lecturer in French and English.

Jahzra Shemzura

Teacher & Apprentice Healer

Jahzra Shemzura has been working in the arena of indigenous cultural preservation and holistic healing for the last 15 years. She serves as a Teacher, Mother, Spiritual Guide and Healer and brings her experience in indigenous healing traditions to various initiatives, such as international workshops, webinars, coaching sessions and retreats. Her work involves a deep commitment to promoting holistic well-being and the preservation of indigenous healing and cultural knowledge.

Nehez Meniooh

Teacher & Healer

Nehez Meniooh was born in Seattle, Washington. He entered the Earth Center's initiation where he began his apprentice healing in 2004. Nehez was a part of the last generation who studied exclusively under Master Naba in the U.S. Nehez apprenticed with Master Naba in the healing. sitting in on countless health consultations, listening to the wisdom of Master Naba, and gaining valuable experiential knowledge. When Master Naba left the US in 2007 he asked Nehez to oversee the herbs and the Chicago branch of ANH. Nehez continues his studies with elder Ankhkasta healers on the annual pilgrimages to West Africa. He is one of two healers for ANH in the U.S. and a priest in training conducting countless health consultations. He currently resides in Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso in West Africa running the herbs and production department for Ankhkasta and is continuing his studies with various healers.
